Roche-A-Cri Elementary School is located on State Highway 21, just two miles west of Arkdale. With an enrollment of around 160 students in 4K through fifth grade, we are one of two smaller elementary schools in the Adams-Friendship School District. Roche-A-Cri is part of the SAGE (Student Achievement Guarantee in Education) program. This means that in grade K-3, there is one teacher for every 18 students.
We are proud of our community's involvement with our school. We have an active Student-Teacher-Parent organization that helps us in many ways. One of its biggest fundraisers is the Annual Pancake Supper which has become a much anticipated community event.
Here at Roche-A-Cri, we welcome families to come and be a part of their child's education. Volunteers do many tasks from helping in the classroom to working on projects at home. Volunteers are always encouraged and greatly appreciated.
